Use DXGI

DXGI is an abbreviation of DirectX Graphics Infrastructure, and using DXGI makes Honeycam record a video with hardware acceleration of DirectX 10. Using DXGI is faster in processing speed than the conventional method of using GDI, and it helps to improve the processing speed when recording a video with a high resolution (720p or 1080p).



If you use DXGI, however, the following problems may occur:

  • Because of the hardware acceleration, the recording may be unsuccessful if your device shows low performance.
  • If you move the capture area during the recording, red lines may be displayed at the edge of the recorded video as below.
